PAM 111 strap choice

Hi guys,

It has been a while since I posted, but I seem to have returned to the dark side with a purchase of a pam 111 nv3. Toro is working his magic as we speak, and in the meanwhile I am looking for a strap. I have come across two decent offers from panatime:

I am looking for a strap that is as OEM as possible, nothing flashy/bulky/crazy but nice and quality to accompany this great rep. I plan for the 111 to be my daily beater, and I usually dress up for work.

Which one do you think is a better choice? I personally don't find that many differences from the pics, but some of you might have tried them in person.

Also, if you can think of other good places to source nice straps that look similar (and are in Europe/UK), please, share them with me.

I've ordered pam 111 v3 as well. It's still on his way!

I'm looking for good strap as well to match my pam 111,
let's share our opinions or take photo of the combo to share cheers!

If I had to choose, I would go with the second link for the Louisiana alligator. I know opinions are like a**holes but I wouldn't pair either of those with my 111. I think it is much more fitting of something like a black kudu skin, like #3 in this post or a soft vintage brown leather like this.

Not a fan of Panatime's offerings... I'll second ddaddy, MA's are a quality product.

Thanks for the advice guys! I came across steveo straps, and an amazing (and cheap) offering, but his autoreply email said that he won't be fulfilling new orders before 27th December.

It looks amazing, but I am not sure if I will manage to pull it off with a suit. What do you reckon?

Looks can be deceiving. Your requirement for quality may not be present with the linked strap. Do you want exotic or calf/cow?

Now that one I like a lot. The right suite, gray's especially, sure. Black, not so much. Sport coat and jeans for sure too. I think this strap says business casual, daily beating, laid back good times. For the total dressed up look, combine this MA with a strap similar to the first PT strap you listed for the best of both worlds. Together they come to about the same $ as the second PT strap you were considering.

He has some similar black and go-with-all burgundy's that are sharp as well.

Dochere2, I completely agree. I will grab the black one to begin with, and I will get the PT one for more formal occasions.

In terms of quality, I would like an exotic skin strap at some point, but to begin with I am after a quality leather daily beater strap. Nothing too fancy or expensive, but something that does the PAM 111 a justice.

I will proceed with the MA and once I have it on the watch, I will report with pics.

Has anyone ordered from PT with delivery to Europe before? Their postage seems a bit on the steep side. Also, have you come across any customs issues due to the leather used?
