Pam 111 Question

I have a quick question that I know one of you pros can help me with...

I have an H-Factory 111 that has taken on a little water. The movement still works, but the lume on the dial has started to bubble.

I decided to buy a new dial, and movement.

I purchased a Noob Pam 111 Dial and Movement from a member here (it has not been shipped yet)

Since the H Factory 111 uses a 6497 that looks identical to the Noob's 6497 I assumed both the dial and movement will be a direct swap.

Was I correct in my thinking, or did I jump the gun? Will this be a simple task, or will I need to send it out to a pro?

any information will be appreciated!

Thanks!

You'll be fine, it should just swap out. However you should first address the reason water got in first so it doesn't happen again. Good luck

Thanks for taking the time to respond Marlin. I have been told you are one of THE go to guys here on the forum for PAM questions.

Are the seals, and gaskets for this case pretty common? Will most watchmakers have them laying around the shop, or should I order new ones?

Thanks for the kind words, if I had one I'd give it to you but unfortunately I don't have any. I'm sure if you contact one of the TDs they'll be able to get you one. Good luck and Happy New Year.........

Thanks marlin for your kind and useful answers

Sam, if your watch took water, the movement will have some water damages.
You had better to send the dial and the watch to a complete service by a professional if you like it.
Unfortunately with the cost of the dial and the service you almost would have been able to get a new rep
