Pam 111 qc

First off I know there is supposed to be a thread dedicated to this, but search didn't find it for me, and all the hyperlinks on this entire site are broken (yes even when copied and pasted).
That said I need some help telling if this is a v4 111 from noob. Also my current qc concerns are first off the watch is filthy, with grease and dirt all over the case sides (hopefully that wipes off), the crystal seems like it may be to reflective, and the frame pieces that can be seen inside the back of the watch all have very clear machining scratches all over them (other pics I've seen they look smooth).

Looks fine to me. And you dont know if its dirt or if its protective plastic. Probably the latter. Regardless, not a QC concern and its a rep so you might have to take a rag to it. I dont see machining scratches, just machining marks. Looks consistent with other members' case back pics.

Your pictures are not at the right angle to be judged as a V4. Crown is V3, movement is typical V4. Anyway, here is the right thread:

Just got this watch. Guess what??? Its broken! Looks like Toro bravo didnt think it worth their time to test that it works. It wont wind, big resistance. Also if you look close at the top of the back of the case there is a small yellow something stuck to the crystal (perhaps a piece of the movement). Waiting to see what Toro bravo will do now.

As we don't know the complete situation, it's hard to comment on the matter.

Well it went like this:
1. Order placed
2. QC pics received, and rejected due to not real v4
3. Get a response, "watch was sent out, this is v4 there is no more v3"
4. Get tracking showing the label being created 26 hours after I reject the qc and was told it shipped.
5. Order actually ships 3 days later
6. Get watch and it wont wind, send email to toro saying it wont wind and that I want a replacement.
7. Turns out watch wont wind because the watch was fully wound, and instead the situation is the watch isn't working. This proves that toro tried winding the watch until it wouldn't wind, in what I assume was an effort to make the watch start ticking.
7. Still no response to this day, dispute opened with credit card company.

All in all a real bad experience.

Dude, wtf are you doing?? Did you seriously file a chargeback??

For the common edification of the forum:
1) Its Chinese New Year, none of the dealers are working right now they're off for the holiday spending time w fam, etc. They start back up next week.
2) Have you not read the forum rules re chargebacks? That's pretty much an auto-ban right there
3) You're expectations do not align with the reality of this business. This isn't Amazon, buddy. There's no same-day shipping. TD's ship out as quickly as they can, but it can take time. Same goes for their response time to emails. They dont have a service center in Kentucky working the phones and emails.
4) Point 7 above actually proves nothing. The watch may or may not have wound when Toro had it. It may or may not have been running when he shipped it, and it may or may not have stopped running during transit.
5) TD buyer feedback doesnt belong in this forum...it belongs in the TD's buyer feedback forum.

If I were you, I'd do my damdest to close that chargeback if you can. And while you're at it read up on the forum rules re purchasing from TDs. There's a process for problems with orders, and this could have been sorted out without putting Toro at risk.

best go read or terms and conditions closely when you signed up you agreed to them meaning we can and will use all personal info about you that we obtain to protect our forum, its members and out TD's

I'm sure Toro has your correct contact information. Why act like such a dick? Cancel the chargeback and work through the RWI HelpDesk to resolve this issue. Live to fight another day.

Seems like the watch was running when the QC pics were taken. Or maybe they moved the seconds hand with telekinesis.
