Hi all,

I recently was trying to take off my leather strap to switch it to a new one I bought, but it's a son of a bitch to get out. Now, it will not move and I'm afraid it's striped. I used WD-40 on the threading but it wasn't successful. So, where do I go from here?

The watch is a V3

If you want to change the old strap, remove cutting with a Cutter the old strap leaving free the lug bars
Then try to remove them with a pliers
If the pliers slides put a fine grain sandpaper between the lug bar and the pliers clamp

Most likely, if the thread of the bar is damaged, when you remove the bars you will damage the thread of the lug. In this case drill the lug holes appropriately and use Panatime 24mm spring bars with false screw head

This ^^^^^^. Exactly. Wouldn't hurt to use a glue gun minus the glue to heat up the lug on the bar itself to let it turn easily. Just my .02 cents

I ended up cutting the leather strap off and cutting the lug bar in half and then unscrewed it out. It seemed just really tight. Thanks for all the tips. I may just buying another lug bar from panatime. I'm not handy enough to do the above ^^^^
