PAM 111 Noob Best edition vs. 1:1 Best edition

Hey guys, I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question.

I was looking at this thread where puretime tore down the noob edition vs the h-maker. From what I noticed the noob edition was definetly the closer rep of the two.

As I was going through puretime's site, I noticed another version of the 111. It is labeled as the PAM 111J 1:1 Best edition.

I think I am losing my mind because I don't think I've ever read/learned so much in the past couple days then I have ever! So please bear with me and let me know whats going on.

Obviously the J and M must designate a different revision, but I still dont get that either.

At the end of the day I am just looking for the closest match to the gen as I can for the 111.

Just for movement screws and engraving plus the lume, I say go for the noob 111m. The 111j looks way inferior.

IIRC, the 111J is also from Noob. Essentially, the J and M and other alphabets denotes the year of the model made by Panerai.... M is the more recent version of the genuine 111, and so is the rep M. The rep J has been around for nearly a year now, I think.

I would assume that the Noob factory would have improved upon the J and made the M better. As boostin20 said, I believe the movement, and engraving and lume are better on the M.

But, on the rep as a whole, I am not sure if the M rep vs M gen is better or not compared to the J rep vs J gen. Panerai could have revised the case, etc here and there from J to M, but whether the rep factory caught up, or got these revisions (if any) right, you'll have to go look for a review of the M rep.

I'd like to read a review of the rep of PAM111 J. I think the only flaw of the rep PAM111 M is the guards of the crown.

Speaking of that, some people need to check the tightness of the cg screws. I had a gap at the top, and it turned out one of the screws wasn't completely tight. While still not perfect, it's a lot better than before.
