I just received these QC pictures from Puretime and I have a few concerns.

1. I think the screen is scratched above the small dials.

2. On the first picture, it looks like the body of the watch has some damage on the bottom right side.

3. On the third picture, the straps look extremely weird/ugly.

Strap is normal...yes they are almost always cheap quality and need to be replaced.
Not anything to reject QC over.
i think there may be a scratch, would ask your dealer to confirm.
i don't think there is damage to the case but again ask the dealer, more likely just reflection.
But the polished versions will scratch in a heartbeat from almost anything.

I understand you wanting to get confirmation that you're making good decisions on your watch buying but this is not the point of the dealers giving QC photos. It is for YOU to ensure it's the right watch and for YOU to identify serious defects in your own watch.. If you can't identify them yourself then... how serious can then be? ...and/or should you be doing more research before you buy?

This thread needs a bump. http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/purpose-qc-pictures-95316?t=95316

This has a sapphire crystal, correct? It's really unlikely that there would be a scratch in the crystal if that's the case, but I'm not sure what thing on the picture is. It's not on the dial because it continues over the hands. Maybe a dog hair?

Dog hair??? I thought of something completely different....

@OP: nice watch, do not really bother with these issues, point them out to PT and ask for more pictures. Most of them is dirt, hair, smudge, reflection.

Here is my take (and I know I am not the long standing member that some here are) but you have every right to reject a QC pic. However, I have rejected only one watch at QC time and that was a Graham Chronofighter that had enough damage to the pusher that I would not have worn it.

If the picture presents something that you would not be willing to wear, then by all means reject the QC pics. If it is a minor scratch that you would probably get yourself within a week then don't worry about it.

Remember, you paid $250 and not $5k.

There is no problem in case and the starp is correct.
Concerning crystal scratched you must talk to the dealer because it is difficult but possible.

I would like to thank everybody for the responses. I received a second set of pictures and they looked a lot better.

Scratch looks like a hair. They rarely clean them well before pics.
"Damage" to right side is reflections.
Strap is a standard rep throw-away strap.
Watch looks good to me! The hair is the only thing I'd ask the dealer about - just to be sure.

The amplitude of 244 degrees, is low, specially with a lift angle set to 53 degrees. It might not keep dodgy time.

I don't think it is a dog hair (or other) at all. I think it's a reflection. The case looks fine. The strap? Throw it away, but don't ask Puretime to replace it with another--it'll be just the same. Really good watch straps cannot be replicated. You will have to buy..... a really good watch strap.
