Fairly noob to the PAM, and they mostly look the same to me, so if you can help me out. Here are the QC pics from MR. Can you RWI PAM experts chime in and let me know the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? Is there any reason not to approve this one?

looks good..
yeah and it's running the high beat 6497..which is good..one of the first few mods would be to get a better shaped Crown Guard..maybe shorten the stem abit just so that crown is sitting slightly closer to the case..
and if you can tolerate the blue tint on the AR, then leave it..if not, change it to a sapphire glass with better colored AR..or just remove the AR completely..
and then redo the lume on it if you want the dial to glow like a torch..

It was only like $118 shipped CONUS... I thought I'd take a chance on it... So far, judging by the replies, it does not look like it is too bad.

Thanks, good to hear about the high beat. I will probably change the CG, it seems to be a big deal with PAMs... It will definitely be a weekend watch, so the AR and lume are fine - Thanks again!!

your sig says you own a 111 already?
I would just say see how it compares to that no??
if the thing is running its worth 100 is basically what i say
200 = is it sorda the same look style of the original
300 = feedback to start nitpicking flaws in quality not accuracy
400range and up = you should probably have researched the model to know what you're paying for already...
so - for 100 bucks i say go for it if its a back up to a nicer one you have already
otherwise looking at your GEN list of watches

....but i will also have to say - i dont mind viewing such high quality QC pictures...
our dealers are giving us a very HQ image to view in this case...

Oh yes, I -DID-, but I broke that one trying to remove a spec of dust inside the crystal - that was the most expensive spec of dust yet!!!
Not really a huge PAM fan, but there is soooo much talk about them, till I had to have at least one in my collection. As I am a newbie to the PAM, right now they all look the same to me - I can't see spending top $$$ for them yet.
Also, I would only wear it on weekends, amongst friends who would never know the difference; most never even heard of a PAM - I'd never wear it to work, so I'd more than likely never pay more than maybe $200 for one - at least not yet. I am intrigued though, so I think $118 is good for right now. The PAM still has to grow on me a bit.

On my QC it even says "No swan neck." However, that looks like a "swan neck" movement to me... maybe I do not know what a "swan neck" is, could someone enlighten me?
