So I recently bought a new one from intime and it was working fine after I wound it and in about three hours it was not working anymore... I tried to rewind it and its already wound up and I even looked in the back and from what ive read and pictures ive seen it looks all legit and ok but its not working? I contacted intime and they want me to send it back. I was wondering if anyone has had this before? I don't want to pay to send it back right away when I waited so long just to pay more bc its fucked up or w.e.

It could be anything. Maybe a screw cane loose during transit and got stuck in the balance wheel or under the train bridge
Hey sorry to hear that. Just to confirm you have wound the crown until it can't be turn anymore right? At the back is the balance wheel moving (the gold colored wheel at top right)?

Yes I have! THe wheel isn't moving tho?? I tried the trick I read about on here about trying to get it moving by rotating the strap counterclockwise and clockwise. It worked after I wound it for the first 3 hours.
Ok il take some when I get home tonight I looked last night and its fully wound and I don't see anything loose I looked at most screws that you can see and they all appear fine
Check for a screw or a hair inside the movement. have you tried "smacking" the face of the watch into your palm? Sometimes that dislodges the offending particle.
Yes I did that a couple times first I read about that I feel like if I keep doing it ill break it LOL
How much to ship it back? It might be cheaper to have another member here look at it, or your local watchsmith?

I think he said about 30ish to send it and w.e the other costs. And I've called a bunch of watch smiths all turned it down cant find any mom and pop places on long island...
Swnd me a pic of the back. It's a 6497 movement, same as the 390 i fixed recently where I swapped some parts in. If it's aprt that is still in my other movement i'd gladly swap some of the parts for you.

Damn man that's badass. It sucks because this is my first panerai rep I was soooooooo looking forward to it and then three fucking hours its fucked up cant even wear it..... its not the fact of having to even pay and send it back to a td its that ill have to wait fucking forever for it to come back to.
I feel your pain....been there and done that. You gotta really have patience in this hobby sometimes!
Haha I know you're right man I just have the hulk noob sub and had that over a year and its been perfect never any issues at all so I guess I was hoping for more lol
My experience is that about 1 in 5 needs to go back. Sometimes the QC just isn't up to scratch. My first TD was great for the first 20 watches....but then dropped the ball and 4 of the last five had to be returned for stuff they should have picked up that could NOT have been picked up with QC. Hence these were the last I bought from them. It took them 3 months to get them back!
