Pam 111 cg

Hi all, new face around here.

I recently procured a PAM 111 and noticed that the CG lever is just plain and doesn't have a roller. Is it possible to source a CG lever with roller (or even, the entire assembly) anywhere?

Early J models and before I think didn't have a roller. I am by no means a expert and could be wrong. What year or letter is your 111?

Hi Dave,

Looks to be "H".

From what I have read early in the j production they started using the roller. So h shouldn't have a roller as per gen. But would be nice for someone more in the know about Pam's to chime in and confirm this.

I took a photo of the caseback and movement, if it's of any further help.

I guessed it may have been an older (or beginner) rep as evidenced by the novodiac shock proofing and other small things - But all in all, it's pretty true to the original, and even fooled my father for a good few hours.

Well I'm sure if I'm wrong about the roller someone will chime in by tomorrow and correct me. After seeing your pic I thought that movement decorated like that was in the G. But again I'm no expert so let's hope someone like ALE reads this and speaks up.

You need a caseback that is earlier than h. Your cg is fine

Alright! Thanks guys! Whilst this one is far from 1:1, I'm satisfied enough with it now.

In other news, I just completed the canon pinion mod, and am now waiting for a nice BOB strap to arrive.

It isn't perfect - but perhaps when I next service it, I'll improve the fit and finish.
