Pam 111: Advice

Hello guys. After receiving valuable advice in Rolex area, I would like some advice about the Panerai.

I would buy a Luminor Marina, aka PAM 111. I read the forum and I have learned that the best version is the "Noob V3".

I took a "ride" on the sites of various dealers but I noticed that there are different versions (and different prices) of PAM 111 Noob V3.

You, who are experts: what do you recommend to me? Which dealer do you recommend me? I would like the best version, the most similar to the gen!

For the 111, yes, the best option is the Noob V3 N series. The dealers all have the same watches. They all come form the same places.

Every Noob V3 version you find will be the same. There are other versions from Noob and other 111's from different manufacturers; these will not (should not) be labeled as V3's.

Which dealer do you recommend me?

All our TD's are good, you have to find one that offers what you're looking for in terms of price, in-stock, shipping, QC photo's, etc. Sead used to offer a modded version of the 111 a while back. Not sure if he still does but it was a great piece and a great starting point...

If you want the absolute closest to Gen, you are going to be looking for a modded piece. the v3 111N is a good place to start but you will need full movement mods, relume (though the lume on the v3 is pretty good), etc to be 98% of what the gen is... and it will still be a rep. Even with all the modding in the world, someone who knows what to look for will know the difference between a modded rep and gen; food for thought.

On the Toro's site, I found a Pam 111 N V3 Asian, with correct T incabloc.


I'll take it? You recommended it to me? I saw that it costs a little more than the other

If you would ever consider having the Incabloc modded in the future, spend the extra $$ and do it now. I have been through several full Pam mod jobs and if I had the option when i bought my 111N, I would have jumped on it...

That said, the watch is excellent on the wrist... Almost doesn't need the Inca mod... Almost...
