Pam 104N Noob ... how good is it?

I've had a couple of manual pams but I feel like I want something automatic with date.
I've done my research on the latest 104n from noob factory and for the most part iy seems good.

Before I take make a purchase I just wanted to get the opinions of owners of the overall feel. I think I'm aware of the flaws including the markers being too green compared to gen.

Thoughts, opinions and pics appreciated.

If you want automatic with date, I highly suggest the PAM299K from noob. I have scrutinized pics of gens in comparison and it is near impossible to spot differences. There are a few so tiny it's tough to notice even when you are looking right at them. It's one of the best examples of a super rep out there. Additionally the stainless bracelet is a nice addition as it is equally close to gen and very few others even offer it.

I like having the option of stainless, but I agree with the consensus that these watches look better on leather.

I am also considering the 299k for the same reasons you mentioned and the fact that toro has a special on them. I was curious how the brushed case would look with leather so your pics are perfect.

How are the quick release buttons?

I wish all the Panerais had the quick release buttons. I can change a strap in 30 seconds. My 187 has the screw lugs and I'm always worried about cross threading. I'm a big fan of the quick release.

The brushed stainless looks fine with leather. I'm not constantly wiping it clean.

The PAM 104 is the same as PAM 229 but with Black dial instead od Blue
The PAM 104 is the same as PAM 220 but with Polished case and Leather strap
There is a version similar to PAM 104 in brushed Titanium and Brown dial: the PAM 240 released in 2007.
The PAM 104 was released in 2002, after the PAM 086 and 091 released in 2001, and it breaks the trend of complex dials started by these models. In comparison with the PAM 086 and 091 the PAM 104 has a very simple and smart black dial.
The best versions are PAM 104 N-series last replicas from H maker and Noob.

The Evaluation results are as follows:
- Noob is superior and can be considered a First Class rep bordering Super rep status.
- H maker is inferior and is a clear good First Class rep
May 2013 Noob releases PAM 104 O-series. Pending evaluation, but since N -series was bordering Super rep (45% votes) we hope this versión gets the improvements to upgrading. Provisional evaluation as Super rep. Some discussion about here:

Honestly, i don't like the cyclop of the rep pam its a pain to my eyes to see the date. I would suggest without cyclop like the new 312 and 359.
