I have an 'ultimate' 220I.

The I has a thicker crownguard. Here's a gen 220I.
Maybe 'I', 2006 had both open closed 6s?

Couldn't find an earlier example of a 220 but did find a 104E

So, I am thinking of getting a Toro CG. That would make the CG more accurate for the I?, J, K series with closed 6s. Has anyone tried this before? From pictures it seems that the screw holes for the crownguards are not in the same places and the CG may not align properly on the case. Has anybody replaced the CG on their Ultimate 104/220/164? Any suggestion? If not possible I am thinking I will get a DSN 104 and make the best I can from both bits.

Toro is correct for I series. It should fit without too much problems. You might wanna shave the feet off a bit to follow the contour of the case.

I series is thick CG .
But it's not easy to fit on ultimate version case .
You need to fix the screw holes on CG first .
But the result is sweet .
