PAM 088 tech question...

So, I bought a PAM 088 on an M@M deal. Wanted to see about the technical side of operating this watch. The crown has a three position function from what I can tell.

All the way out. This allows me to adjust the GMT portion by dialing upward when on the wrist. Downward allows me to adjust the hands or primary time. Correct?

Second slot or mid way out. This is for date change.

All the way in. This should be winding for the watch to tick. Which direction should it go? Do you wind downward like to adjust the big hands? Or upward like my 390?

I am asking these because I don't want to wind the wrong way and damage anything.

I've never come a watch that didn't wind clockwise. When you wind it, listen and feel, you'll know that your winding.

Neither have I. Although technically you don't "wind" an auto, since those are supposed to start ticking once you pick them up. But a few turns clockwise (away from you) should get the ball rolling.
