Unluckily it doesn't look like a great rep imho.
Bezel is all wrong with too big 15-30-45 markers placed toi close to edge. Shape of twelve looks badly wrong, they juat copied from PAM 087, but the shape is different in 064.
Pearl is not the best, the metal rim looks too thick and flat.
Subdial at nine looks too flat and white, should be silver.
Finally lume color is overall too saturated, I know there are variations in gen, but this rep looks too orange too me.

That said, the 087 seems to be a better option, right? Not much more expensive either. I'm just worried, because some members report having problems with the movement.

This has the same movement as 087 so inconsistencies may occur with this model as well. I was one who received it DOA and it is now being serviced. Not something I'm happy about, but it's the hobby.
As soon as I receive it I will prepare a review, but we have seen already, thanks to mike00 and others, that it is a great rep. Imho one of the best submersibles together with PAM 243.
If you are on the fence between 087 and 064 I'd choose the former for sure

Well, you can get a PAM029 which is almost the same as the PAM023 albeit with a tuxedo dial.
