PAM 036 Best Strap???

Hi Guys, I need some advise,

I have my first Pam coming, a 036 from Joshua (thanks to a recommend by babola) and I am looking for a nice strap to go with it. Couple of questions:-

1) Is the titanium buckle removeable and will I be able to reinstall on a new strap? (I don't have a problem removing the buckle from the new strap as I could just dremel it off)

2) I quite like the look of the distressed leather straps in either Tan or Dark Brown. What do you think and has anyone any other recommendations? Do they make them in the shorter sizes?

By the Way I want a very comfortable strap.

Has anyone got any pictures they could post?

I hope this Pam thing isn't addictive as I spend a fortune on my Vintage Rolex's as it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh-oh, your first PAM and the strap addiction is already getting it's hooks in you!

Yes, the Ti buckle is removable (screw-in buckle, not spring bar), but it is 22mm, so be sure to get a strap that is 24mm/22mm.

I have a dark brown Giovanni e Figlio strap from Elliot at TCStraps.com on mine (it's 24mm/24mm).

It has a polished SS sewn-in buckle, but I don't mind. The strap kicks mucho ass. I think *most* of TCStraps non-custom ordered straps are 24/24, though.

You can custom order straps from Elliot, HKTan, SMAT, Greg Stevens, Shane Delaurian and countless others if you need a shorter size. Check the strap sticky thread at the top of the forum for all the websites/emails.

To me... It's Mario Paci XI Tan Ambra. Never mind the SS PreV buckle but it gives you an excellent vintage look and top notch comfort.

I love all the MPs and GeF mentioned - but it is handy to be able to order a pre-V Ti buckle w/ the strap to go w/ the 036.

I suspect E. may address this in the future - especially as Ti pannies take off.
