PAM 029 not winding automatically

I received a PAM 029 Noob v2 from a TD a few days ago. When I first got it I wound it up 30 rotations and it lasted 2 days before it died on my wrist and the second had stopped moving. No matter how much I moved my wrist around it would not get started again. I had to wind it 30 rotations again. Now 2 days later it has again died on my wrist while wearing it. I have to wind it up manually again to get it going. I have other Automatics and they do not behave like this. As long as I wear them every few days they stay wound. Is this normal for Noob movements?

This particular "feature" is probably more common than most admit and isn't specific to any one factory, in this case noob but could be any using the same movement. It's likely cheaper to have it serviced and regulated in your home country than have the TD swap it. Maybe the rotor just needs a tiny lubrication job.
I had the same experience with automatics as yourself before getting reps, even whilst sleeping my Japanese watch movements wind without hand-winding.

Thanks for the info. I've never had to do this on any other automatics I own. How much would a service like this typically cost?

I have the same issue on this with. But for me the rotor got lodged and won't spin after about a year of working perfectly fine. Was quoted around 110 usd to fix in the US. But I never wanted to drop that money to fix it thinking I may just buy a new one and sell the broke one for parts.
