This has been a long time coming, I first got my 26K from the H factory V1 around 4 months ago. I have promised a review but was tied down by work.

The H factory has since came out with a v2 and updated dial, my review is for the V1.

The Gen Pictured here is not mine. It was taken off the internet.

GEN BOXSET

For the Subsequent pictures,GEN is always on the left (top), Rep is always on the right (bottom) depending on your screen resolution.

THE WHOLE LOOK

It does looks good in a glance, and I would think the H-Factory did a good job here in replicating this Beauty

Score: 9/10

CASEBACK

The running serial numbers on the back of the case on the rep is etched and not engraved, otherwise i would give a good score of 10.

Score 8/10

BUCKLE

Nothing Much to say here, except that it is DLC'ed really well
Score 9/10

Dial and CG

The Numerals on the V1 are a little (tinny winnie bit) too rounded, it does not bother me. The CG pin on the rep is shiny instead of matte. Other than that, no biggie

Score: 7/10

Overall, I would give this rep an 8/10. A pretty good rep OTB. DLC is great, the whole look is awesome.

I noticed that a lot of the PVD PAM does not have the cannon pin done like the gen. I think that's the biggest tell. I have the v1 and also the DSN 360 and that's one little thing that annoys me. Wonder if I can just color it black!

I got the V2 recently and realised the DLC coating is very lighter than V1. It's really pencil lead colour unlike V1 which can be kinda ceramic black.

Is the Gen colour close to V1?

Thanks for the review.

About half an hour after I received my 026--now about a year ago so I'm not sure what version I have, but it is a DLC coating--I put a ding on the edge of the CG, which now shows the stainless underneath. Is there any sort of fix for this--other than the obvious: to have the whole thing redone at great expense?

Ive been thinking to pick up the H v2, after selling my V1 a year or more back. It seems to be very light in colour - can anyone chime in on that?

V1 was quite black and H V2 today seems quite grey. I handled a Gen about 6 months back and seem to recall it was mid way between the two?

But memory plays tricks as we all know - especially at my age! LOL

Maybe a little late, but I'm after info regarding the 026 versions as well... gianton did this great review comparing all 3 versions:

There might be a fourth one, HFac case finished by KW. Yet to be confirmed.
