The PAM 024 and 025 are the first Vendôme Panerai Submersibles. The PAM 024 A-series is made of SS and has Flat surface dial and polished case&bezel, the PAM 025 is made of Titanium and has a nice Hobnail textured dial and brushed case&bezel.
The titanium version PAM 025 Submersible is about 20% lighter than the PAM024 SS.
The PAM 243 is a modern Sub SS version of above mentioned watches in a 45mm 1950 case.
The PAM Submersibles are the most heavily-built regular Panerai, with most design hints taken from the vintage Egiziano. They have milled unidirectional bezel. The hands are skeleton, as in the GMT. They are automatic watches, with small seconds @9 and a date window @3.
The Pam 024 A-series is an exclusive and good replica from DSN catalogue and doesn’t have the bezel marked with minute indices between the 12 and 3. These minute indices were added from the D-series (see the following PAM 024 D-series).
This replica from DSN is a very good rep, but if you are not specifically looking for an old model or Polished Sub, the best current choice for a similar PAM Sub is an excellent PAM 243.
