Pam 000 just arrived at my doorsteps

Finally got my 000 H-fac which I ordered from Sead 2 months ago. Came in an ice-cream box and nicely packed. It's runs smoothly so far but the engine sound is rough. Should I get it service?

Taken a couple of pictures quickly, I don't have my macro lens with me now. Will post eye candy shots once I get a strap change and got back my macro lens.

ps - any suggestion on what strap I should get?

For 6497 it's normal to be loud, that way you know it works since it doesn't have a seconds hand. Whatever you put on a base PAM will look good IMO, just search around for what you like best. I found myself getting back to rubber after many experiments with various straps.

Btw great watch you got there from even better dealer. Enjoy it!

Great catch! I just ordered one with Asso strap as these feel really soft on the wrist. But try and experiment, ypu can't go wrong

Very Nice. I ordered same watch from Sead. Got QC pics the other day. Not sure how long it will take to ship to the States or if I will have any trouble with customs.

I just received my PAM005 QC pics and it looks goood... just waiting for a timegraph pic to prove it runs just as good.

Regarding straps, I've been doing a lot of research seeing as I have a base model coming and I've found that for me there are 3 absolute must-have straps:
1. OEM PAM Rugby Gold Calf - Costs more than the watch, but there's just nothing like it on your wrist. Essentially makes your rep a 99.999% gen.
2. Di Stefano DS77 Saddle Strap in black - The strap most straps want to be when they grow up. Oozes cool with those sharp edges and sweet stitching.
3. Assolutamente but in the lighter Camel leather - A tried and tested favourite, but with a fresh twist. Patinas better than the darker one IMO because the normal one ends up just looking like another brown strap after a few months of wear.

My watch looks a bit on the blue side or maybe its the poor lighting from his camera...? Plus your crown looks brighter like the Gen...again it could be the camera he used. All in All I send to ship it my way. Hopefully I will get it soon.

The pics you posted are they your QC pics or did you take them yourself???

Yes I have a couple of 6497 but this is slightly louder as I can hear it clearer compares to the other. Should I get it service? or maybe not?

Yes Sead is a busy man for sure. HAHAHAHA! Many of our members getting the H-fac from him it seems.

Thanks for the strap recommendation! Will check them out. I actually plan on getting an OEM strap. Any idea where can I get it online?
PAM AD in Kuala lumpur don't carry straps. That's just sad, nearest I have to go is Singapore just for the strap.

I wouldn't get it serviced, just wear it and enjoy it. Save that money and invest in another rep and service it when it will have more serious problems.
