What do you guys think about this watch from timeshop?

i would appreciate your expert opinion on this watch.

would it be better to go for a close caseback so that i do not have the problems that come with an open back?

Wish i could comment. they were just released last week and no one has had one in their hands yet

cg will still need some work but a step up from the other models

For the price, it is a very nice offering. For those of us who have been staring at enlarged pics, own loopes, and may be wearing it in the presence of gens, it may be a good buy to strip some parts from, but not much else.

Nearly every pic I've seen of it has something wrong with the CG lever or pin. Since they usually select the best looking one for the pic taking, this is not too promising.

The dial and hands should be good enough for 97% of buyers, the other 2% will be using LittleHero or other custom ones, the last 1% will never be happy until you tell them it is a Franken with gen dial :cheesy:.

Display back will probably still be too thin and have a mineral crystal, but at least NO MORE H0035

Of course until a member with good photo skills actually gets one in their hands ........ all speculation (which is what we do best ).

I suppose it's the same as the other 111 J models sold by several dealers ....
