I picked up a PAM505 a couple of weeks ago with the P9000 clone movement. I looked at it today and noticed the weight is not spinning freely anymore and is making a significant grinding sound. Has anyone had this happen before? I have contacted the TD, but have no heard back yet. I am hoping they will take it back and send a different one out, but I am not optimistic

Read the terms and conditions of your TD regarding warranty/replacement. I think your watch will be repaired, not replaced. But you would have to send the watch back to China.

better have it repaired locally if possible,....as Mysterio said, it can be a hassle shipping back to CN. Probably your rotorscrew is (a bit) loose so your rotor touches the caseback...don't wind it anymore, if the screw comes out and gets between the gears, you will ruin the watch

I think the rotor just presses on, on the 9000 clone movement, have a look might just be not pressed on correctly causing it to be off axis.

The center plate is screwed onto the movement. The 3 visible screws on the plate are faux (they are screws but they do not do anything). The rotor itself is press-fitted on the center plate.
