Happy Monday everyone [emoji482].

I'm just curious if the Pam Rep world has an upgraded decorated P3000 movement. I just can't accept any Pam with this movement considered a 'Super Rep'. Here is a screen shot of a Gen P3000 movement and circled in blue are areas the reps have missing. Anyone have a jump on some hints to improving these features other than just buying a movement outright?

No, and thinking about buying a gen movement (if that is even possible) is ill-advised. If that level of detail bothers you, I suggest you move on to another watch with a different movement.

I agree, thanks for the response. I think it's amazing how far Pams have come. The more research I do, the more impressive it is, but on an open case back, this is not that detail oriented. .. but the Pam111, 029, 000 are flat out amazing.

OP -- your point is well taken. For me, the status is more for function rather than form. With a true 72 hour power reserve, that is more impressive to me than the loupe oriented details. Now if we could get a true 8 day PR as has been rumored for about a year on the P.5000, that would truly be something

The movement has 2 barrels, for rep a fine 72 hours power reserve and it is serviceable. "Thinking in rep-terms" this is a masterpiece and not just an otb movement with some bored holes and screwed on (or glued) decoration plates. Last time I quickly had a look at a gen-movement a client handed me over at a table, no ideal lighting conditions and while talking - I barely could make out some details with the naked eye.
In the real world we don´t carry lupes around:)

(not my pic) of the rep-movement
