Alrighty,

So a friend gave me a rep I picked up for him a few months, said it wouldnt wind. I took it home, popped it open and found a floating screw, a doo-dad, and a tiny pube sized spring. Its obvious where it comes from. I just cant figure out how to reattach it, there is a hole that the pube spring appears to be seated into, but I just dont know. I don't think anything is broken or in need of replacement.... curious. I know this should likely be on the movement board for seagull... but I would prefer it actually seen instead of remain unanswered in the abyss of the Sea-gull board haha

That looks like the click spring that you would find on a 6497. But I am really not sure on that movement. Google click spring ETA 6497, and you will find videos on how they are are attached. Maybe this is the same concept.

Yeah. I actually think you're on to something. I have a 6497 for parts laying around that I might look at.

It's the same click spring construction but much smaller as the spring from the 6497.
But the way it works is the same. Here is how it look at a 6497
