handwind the watch

It's there because it's a pilot watch, and them usually wear gloves, so with this big crown they can wind their watch without problems.

In this pilot watch and all of them (see the IWC big pilot crown for example)

I own the Flight Timer 1945 (limited to 1,945 production). Way nicer, has 3 time zones, larger crystal exhibition back, day/night indicator at 3. Beautiful! To me, anyway ...

The pushers at 5 and 7 are for advancing the main hour hand + or - an hour. Really handy when traveling.
