Ordered UPO but wondering if I have made the wrong choice

Hi guys

I have ordered a 45.5mm planet ocean off one of the trusted dealers. It is the latest version with no happy feet I'm just waiting on QC pictures to come through. Thing is I'm now thinking maybe I should have gone for the 42mm version. I have quite large wrists at 7 3/4" so thought the UPO was the way to go but after seeing pictures of the 42mm 5th gen it seems to look better than the UPO for some reason.

Have I done the right thing by going for the UPO?

Cheers

My wrist is 7.25" (which I consider small) and the 42mm PO is just about pushing the envelope for me.

You may want to go to an AD and try one on before ending up with a "catch 'n' release".

Thanks robbnj

Do you mean that if your wrists were any bigger then the 42mm would look too small on you?

Oh no! I already got it on order USrob and I'm not sure the dealer even sells the 42mm version. I'll get in contact with him and see

I've a 40mm sub and that just looks too small on me hence the reason I went for the bigger PO. I just thought 42mm ain't that much difference to the sub so a 45mm would be better. I have a pam and that wears just right and they are quite a large watch

I think the 42mm looks better on you Q5 although they both look good :)

I have quite big hands too so I think I made the right choice going for the UPO

I think PO 42mm looks really small. PO XL actually is only 43.5mm... If you measure the bezel size.

Yeah your right galimanas it does look more classic. Dunno why but the 42mm to me just looks smarter.

By the way guys what's the rubber strap like? I've ordered one along with the bracelet but not sure what the quality is like?

If you change between the rubber and bracelet you will need extra bars. They tend to stick inside the rubber anyway.

I have a 4th Generation PO, not the 5th Gen. And My UPO was bought a few years ago. It "had" happy feet. But not anymore ;)

I'm sure the latest UPO and 5th Gen PO are both comparable in terms of finish, feel and function.
