So I ordered a 111M and it appears I've received an N. I understand it's the identification by year, but is there any difference in the quality of the replication? It was supposed to be a 111M Noob, by the way.

I believe its the same thing as the M. I got mine as a N too, fits the "Noob" naming, love it.

Maybe it's my eyes but is it hard to see if "Officine Panerai" is engraved on the movement on your watch?

I can see that is is engraved on mine with bare eyes.

I held it up in the light and can tell now. One glaring thing that I'm noticing now though is that there appears to be a smudge or imperfection under the first A in PANERAI. To make matters worse, the "I" looks incomplete or short. Almost like a "!" without the dot. There was a poor job done on the painting of the engraving there it seems. Not sure if it's worth fussing over, but it does kind of bug me.

One more thing: I received the watch at about 6pm last night. I wound it fully and noticed that it stopped at about 10:30am this morning. I reset the time and wound it again. Is this normal for a PAM rep? 16 1/2 hours and needs to be wound again?

Coupled with the poor engraving, I'm looking to know if I have a lemon on my hands. I've read returning the watch can be quite the ordeal as well so am looking for some insight.

Both of my manual Pam's
One Swiss Unitas and one Asian Unitas both last about 42 hours.

Here is the QC pic of the back and it just so happened it was taken from the opposite side of the case where the engraving was barely visible.

I'll say return the watch.

Btw is the AR inside or outside on the 111N?
