Ordered a PP 5296R but got a 5296G (sector dial)

First ever rep order from a TD.

I ordered a Patek 5296R (this was the name I used in my order on WhatsApp, based on the jtime website) in rose gold from Li last week, and just received QC photos showing a 5296G (as named on jtime website) with a sector dial.

To be honest, I like the sector dial, but it’s not what I ordered. Was this my error or should I have been more specific? Is the best way to resolve this to go through Li or Lana? Is there a risk of a long delay or issue if I request the standard dial, such that I should just accept the sector dial model (which, again, I do really like too)?

Only ordered from Hont before but I think the procedure should be the same with all TDs: if they haven't sourced the watch you originally ordered, kindly tell them and I'm sure they will source the correct watch. I guess sourcing the actual watch you were looking for, won't take any longer than that one you got the QC of.

I decided I liked the sector dial so much I'd just go with it! My wife also convinced me the standard dial would be too similar to my Orient Bambino that is a Calatrava homage, and she's probably right. Looking forward to the sector dial!

The sector dial is beautiful and a must have for any dress watch lover. Congrats to your buy!
