The first thing I liked was the dial pattern.

You won't be changing straps any time soon, though.

The bracelet design is kinda cool, regardless. Excuse the hairy wristies.

The crown guard is integrated with the case. You have to go under the crown to release it. No problem.

Rotor is undecorated. Honestly, I don't get the exhibition caseback thing, on a dive watch design.

The lugs measure 56mm across. The lugs' curvature makes it wear a tad smaller, IMO.

Oh, and there is nominal lume:

This was my first startup purchase (there are a lot of startups out there!) and it was kinda fun. Their communication was excellent.

Some startup designers appear to be trying too hard, mixing way too many features from other watches, creating a cluttered mess.

Not the case with these guys, IMO. Although the bracelet is uninspiring, all in all it strikes me as a decent value.

yes, I agree. nice design. not fond of the bracelet though, but I like the dial and front of the watch. I don't get the open caseback either as that movement is as about as plain as you could possibly get, and I would expect a better movement, not a 21j in and almost 500 dollar watch. that movement sells for 46 bucks. but otherwise not too bad. Maybe with sales they can make that movement worth looking at or just put a closed caseback on it. Nice review Tommy. thanks.

Their case build looks interesting the fact that it detaches from the bracelet.

nice price plus gotta love a gen 2 year warranty. looks too bulky for me but if i was a diver id be all over it. the PVD one would look nice over a wet suit.

You're welcome, G.

Yep, the movement is nothing special.

The 9015 would have been a nicer movement choice, to pick one that is available in other watches sold at this price point.

Cool watch. That case looks really thick and has a lot of presence, unique looking dial too. Enjoy your new addition :)

Oh yes, Festivus for the rest of you. Not officially celebrating Festivus but I do have a few things to get off my chest :lies:
