My black and red arrived yesterday. Here are my impressions.
$385 shipped.
Specs:
46mm diameter 15mm thick case
5.7mm signed and spring-loaded crown with a unique guard system
44mm bezel, unidirectional
33mm domed sapphire crystal. No detectable AR
24 x 22mm bracelet with a unique attaching system. Friction pins, signed safety clasp with micro adjustments
Non-hacking Miyota 8215 motor
171 grams after removing three links
It comes in a signed box with (two year) warranty card
The first thing I liked was the dial pattern.
You won't be changing straps any time soon, though.
The bracelet design is kinda cool, regardless. Excuse the hairy wristies.
The crown guard is integrated with the case. You have to go under the crown to release it. No problem.
Rotor is undecorated. Honestly, I don't get the exhibition caseback thing, on a dive watch design.
The lugs measure 56mm across. The lugs' curvature makes it wear a tad smaller, IMO.
Oh, and there is nominal lume:
This was my first startup purchase (there are a lot of startups out there!) and it was kinda fun. Their communication was excellent.
Some startup designers appear to be trying too hard, mixing way too many features from other watches, creating a cluttered mess.
Not the case with these guys, IMO. Although the bracelet is uninspiring, all in all it strikes me as a decent value.
