Orange Bezel or Black Bezel

Hi,

I am about to order the UPO with the ETA clone, however I prefer the orange bezel version. But I am sure I read that the pearl isn't aligned or it was the triangle that isn't aligned? Is this true?

Is there a visual difference (other than colour!) between these two versions?

I just want to make sure I get the most belivable Planet Ocean rep I can get. And if it meant going for the black bezel with orange numbers instead of the orange bezel then I'd do that

It was the alignment of the triangle that was reported to be an issue with coloured bezel. I don't recall if that was UPO or 42mm PO though. I went for black. There are a few PO/UPO Franken threads around if you decided to mod the bezel... Q5 has an annoying talent of inspiring expenditure! I'd stay away from his posts if I were you!

Thank you for your reply! I really like the orange bezel version but if the triangle is misaligned then that would slighly put me off. I'm slightly picky with all the small details! So to avoid an annoyance I might order the black bezel version. But if anyone has any photos or if they know exactly the problem it would be really appreciated to hear it!

I had a look at some photos and I think it could be the 42mm version rather than the 45mm. Please could someone confirm this?

I bought the 42mm orange bezel gen today after having a rep from Lay at replicamake for about 5 months and side by side the rep is very very good no pearl issues

I've got the 42mm Black bezel 2824 (nickleplated insignia rotor) from Lay and it looks very close to accurate. I'ts the most convincing non-modded replica I've seen so far and to me the inaccuracies can really only be seen if it's placed side by side with a gen. Or unless you're a Omega specialist which I'm not.

Get the black with orange letters. Then you can just swap out the bezel insert and not the entire bezel.

I would go with black insert also. It would be hard to rock the orange insert with that Italian suit in your avatar.

Just get QC pics. You should be fine.

Do what i did, buy both The orange is fun and flashy, and I love it with certain clothes, but the black is much better all around imo

Back to the topic, I bought an UPO with an orange insert and a spare black one. Now the orange popped out unintentionally and I am trying to figure out how to pop it back in.

Like the brother above, I also have tonnes of black insert watches, so the orange is a flashy diversion.
