Opinions on this PAM before I buy?

I'm about to get this from Mark at TS http://www.timeshops.net/product.php?id_product=7200
Just curious is anyone has it, and has any opinions? I know it's not the same as the gen (the subdial should be silver, and the obvious rep movement is visible from the back. to be honest I like this version better than the gen. It looks more clean, and simple to me. I know a lot of people like the eta movement. but for a daily beater I think the 21J will do just fine for me.
Anyway, honest blunt opinions welcome.

I noticed this one when I was shopping for my 328 (the same watch, without the gmt). This is an exceptionally low price, over $100 less than other dealers are charging. The difference seems to be the use of a cheap mineral crystal, and presumably, a cheaper movement, although I only see "asia automatic" on the timesshop advert, so who knows. I think you are right, it has to be a 21J.

The more expensive versions (like the one I bought) have sapphire crystal and for movement they utilize the asian seagull 35J, or some sellers use the seagull 25J. The seagull is a great movement, and is used in better version IWC Big Pilots.

My thought is go for it. If it really is the same watch as the more expensive version, with the exception of the 21J and the crystal, that is a whole lotta bang for the buck. And although people sometimes disparage the 21J, it really is a pretty reliable movement.

Please post pics and a review once you get it. Timesshop has some really, really low prices, and I am interested to see if you like the watch.

I definitely will. I have a feeling TS is going to be getting all of my spare cash, if this first rep holds up at all.

I think currently there is a better version available. Also Chinese movement, but with sapphire crystal.

The mineral will easily be scratches as a daily beater. And scratches look besides ugly also 'fake'. Genuine pams don't have scratches. The crystals are sapphire and if scratched, they get replaced.

For a bit more, you will have a better watch. Just my 2c.
