opinions on Davidsen's ultimate 217?

I don´t have the 217, but have his 127 with swiss E movement from last year, which isn´t available any more.
It´s one of my best watches in finish and design, lume is good, movement winding and running nice.
But be advised, since this year his QC is not spotty any more (read the threads about it), but nowadays lacks in total! The second watch I ordered was a 232, which had a crooked dial (printing not horizontal) which was running four hours fast a day. I gave it back and refused to take another 232 which seemingly had the same dial problem.
I ordered instead one of his upgraded 082, a very nice watch which only DSN has, which I recieved last week. This watch now has the Panerai printing twice on the dial with a spacing of 1/2 mm (looks like you are drunk and seeing everything double :shock: ), the watch stops everytime when you don´t lay it flat on a desk (very usefull for a wristwatch) and the crown touches the crownguard when you try to set the time.
Its sad, the 082 has a fantastic dial color
If you dare and/or have time and will to send the watch several time forth and back for fixing, try it!
Otherwise there are good DSNs out there, I would wait until some forum member parts with his.
