Opinion on this PAM

Hi there, I've recently gotten a very great deal for this panerai. It's new and unworn. The guy selling it has no info on its movement and what exact model of Pam it is supposed to be. I'd like to know what you guys think based in these pics below. I would also like it if someone can help me identify the movement and model of this piece. The person selling this is reputable and deals with both TD watches and Chinese reps. He's offering this for around 100usd. Thanks for your help.

First, you posted two different watches.
The first pic shows a other dial than the second pic.
To the movement, it's a undecorated st2555 movement.
Cheap movement but not to bad

I would stick with our TD's if you like to buy a watch.

First one is a PAM312, all the other pictures are of a PAM359. Although there is a new and visually accurate version of both that were just released, if you really want them, they're not that bad. But I'd stick to the 312 as the date font looks better than the one on the 359.

Yea, sorry about that. The date wheel looked bad in the first pic he sent so that's a different pic by him. I would love to stick with the TD's here but they are international and are generally more expensive than the this guy who is selling it locally. Plus he is selling it for about 100usd which sounds like a good deal to me. I have one question, isn't the st2555 the seagull movement that is supposed to have a functional power reserve indicator at 4 o'clock?

Thanks, what is the difference between the two models? They looks same to me other than the weird date window.

Interestingly, this once happened to me as well. I just couldn't see it when I compared them side to side. Some weird brain filter!

Exactly right. The PAM312 has the standard 6-9-12 numbered dial (because it has a date window, base dials have 3-6-9-12), the PAM359 has what is called a "dirty dial", first because of the fully numbered dial, second because it was the first to feature brown (now called "patinated") lume which made it look dirty.
