Hello Breitling Fans.

I come to ask you an opinion on the Navitimer TWA made by SS in V9F edition.

I know that KOR is famous for their finish but what about this version ?
I know the Valjoux 7750 movement well but on the other hand its clone ???
Is it good or to avoid ?

Thank you in advance for your feedback and have a good day (y)

;)

Just looking at the pictures seems a very nice replica. However seems that as usual the date is a little deeper than the dial. That is something that set me off with regard to a replica, but it is of course a personal decision. It is also quite difficult to say just absed on those pictures.

Factory is not KOR it’s V9F, have not seen much about them but from pics yes date wheel is always going to be sunken, colours are off etc. I have not seen a post from anyone who has actually purchased one so that says something.

If you like it go for it ;)

This is the nice thing of the Replica world and RWI, that you take 2 members and will have 2 different mening :D. Which in the end leaves you with what we all are in agreement with: If you like it, just buy it!

@maitre yoda I became anyway a little curious, so I did a quick scan of the Brietling web-shop and of Chrono24. I don't see any evidence that the black dial version ever existed. But as I said it was just a quick check so please do the investigation work yourself.

I also took the picture from JTime site and from Brietling and compared them (gen to the right, obviously):

Unfortunately JTime picture is lower resolution and ovedrexposed, so it leaves a lot to once fantasy, but my take from comparing thos pictures are:

1. Date is sunken
2. Font on date wheel seems to be a little lighter?
3. Maybe the frame around the date opening is different? Can't say from this picture
4. Maybe the small hands are a little bit on the thick side? 😁
5. Difficult to judge the color due to the difference og lightning. But if you compensate for that seems to be rather close
6. Everything else seems to my eyes to be quite spot on

Again that was an ultra-fast check just because my curiosity kicked in. I would stay away from the black (unless you can find evidence that it existed), but would not have problem buying the white dial one if it was not for the sunken date. That is a no go for me. But there are fully functional Navitimer without sunken date wheel. I had one of them.

Just some input for your thougths.

Hello and thank you for your feedback.
It is on that by making a comparison with the Gen, there will always be differences.
The recurring problem is often the date that is pushed in. By taking in black, it is less obvious.
@aguida The black version did exist, it was released in 2019 at Breitling. And thank you for this little comparison.

It will surely be mine for the end of the summer.

Good weekend to all.

I did find some information on the Chrono24 website about the Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition which has a black dial with black subdials. Everyone can check again.
