Ongoing Delivery Issue with AndiotWatches

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share an issue I’m currently facing with Eliott from whom I’ve placed several successful orders in the past without any problems.

For my most recent order (placed at the end of March), things didn’t go as smoothly. The parcel was marked as undeliverable due to an “incorrect address.” After contacting the delivery service, I was told that the issue wasn’t with the address — which was accurate — but with the recipient name on the parcel, which was completely wrong.

I’ve contacted Eliott multiple times. He acknowledged the problem and told me the parcel would be returned to a European warehouse and then resent to me. However, despite several follow-ups, I haven’t received a clear timeline or solution, and the situation remains unresolved.

This isn’t a complaint done in anger — I’ve had good experiences with this dealer before — but at this point, I believe it’s fair to make the issue public so that it can hopefully be resolved more quickly and transparently.

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation recently?

My personal experience with the postal service in general is that when a package is returned, it’s hard to give any clear timeline for what happens next. It can end up bouncing between distribution centers without much in the way of updates..

You just have to be patient. Andiot is a trusted dealer here, and I feel pretty confident that he’ll sort out your situation if he’s made a mistake

The biggest issue at hand here is that the name on the parcel is not the good one

And so what do you suggest ? When I called the French national posting service they told me that the issue what no such people lived at this adress (that is actually true)

I understand, but I assume Andiot will change the name on the package once they get it back and send it out again

I would call the delivery company back and ask it be delivered to the address as shown. The delivery company does not know if that person is coming to visit or stay with you or who may have just moved into the house as another person.

Actually the guy I had on the phone said that legally, before I get the shipment it belongs to the sender so I cannot give instructions for delivery ..

Any reason you did not use your real name? If the delivery issue centers on you using a "fantasy" name, is it really fair to blame Andiot?

You did what you did...can't undo that now.....it's done....so you just need to be patient and wait.

Seems pretty funny to have conclusions in the same message you ask the question but nevermind.

And yes, Andiot is to « blame » even though it is a comprehensible mistake

He did not put the name on the delivery adress (for reminder I ordered a lot of watches from him and never had any issue like this one).

But as you said, let s wait, I ll update here.

Correct you are unable to give directions, the shipper will need to call. Best if Anidot could call the shipping company and turn this shipment around back to you otherwise you will have to wait until this lands somewhere.

Anidot probably has to play this by ear depending on where it goes. I still believe the shipper cooked the goose unless we are missing something. Have patients, as hard as that is and let Anidot sort this out with the shipping company.

Eliott asked today for new shipping details.

I don’t know if it is a coincidence regarding my yesterday post, but things seems to go in the good direction
