I recently decided to send a couple of my reps off to get them looked at by a responsible adult - rather than have them fall victim to my own amateur bunglings and end up as scrap.
I've heard nothing but good things about the work and services ministered by @Solution6 so I contacted him. He promptly gave a diagnosis of the likely issues, and I popped the heads in the post. Within a couple of days he'd got both watches sorted, and confirmed his initial diagnosis. While they were with him, he kept me up-to-date with progress reports comprising clear, detailed explanations and pics of what he'd done. Once fixed, each watch was re-sealed and pressure tested with pics of that process too. Both watches arrived back within the week, both set to the correct time and ticking away happily.
I mean, what more could anyone ask of a watchmaker/repair service?
This gent is an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I'm really looking forward to more watches in my collection going wrong, so I can send them to L.
Thanks buddy!
