Hello guys,

after the crown was not able to screwed in, it was hard to get out the stem. After a few tries, it came out. I tried it with 2824 stem and a new crown, but it doesn’t lock it. Still with the old stem it those not fit and jumps out. Should be something else broken and have anybody an idea how to fix it and who?!

Regards from Germany

Assuming that it is the 2824 movement, decorated to look as a 8800, it is possible that the keyless works needs to be reset.

That is a set of tiny parts, only accessible by removing hands, dial and datewhweel. If you have never done that before I'd recommend to have it done by a watchmaker.

You're welcome.

And no. But any freelance watchmaker should be able to do it. Ask around politely in the area where you live, not all of them work on reps.
