I really, really wanted a Snoopy 25th anniversary and noted from the threads on here that the one sold by Ali Express (?) had a better colour face. bezel and dial than the one you can buy from TD's on here but the TD's one had the revolving "earth" and Snoopy in this rocket ship revolving around...

Agreed,...N1 ticks more of the boxes though all of them have some major flaws!
I've been going back and forth with AMF trying to get them to build one for me but they're very slow to respond.

On looking at the trusty time site it appears they have 7 versions!
My question is simple - which one has the closest face to the original IGNORING the spacing of the sub dial problems & ignoring the price - sorry guys but there doesn't appear to be any major analysis on here of these models?

Now, I love an Omega, but there is good reason the better Omega Rep factories can't be arsed to rep it

Actually, the more I think about it there aren't many Speedy reps that are anywhere near faithful to Gen

Addendum, the biggest issue, and why I don't buy many Omega Chrono's any more is that the Omega Subdial layout is such that the commonplace Movements used in them don't give the correct sub dial functions, and that winds me right up, if it's there it should work as originally intended

The non chrono's like Seamasters, Aquaterras etc are pretty good as it happens

I am new to the replica world, but it's frustrating that no one can make a great replica of the Silver Snoopy watch. Either the dials are too far apart or the back mechanism is not operational. Sad. If a company made a great rep of this, I am sure it would be worth their time.

Which is why the only Omegas I buy now don't have Chronos, I'm just far too anal to have the Dials reporting the wrong function, even worse frozen

I do possess a Speedy Apollo 11 which you can at least time Seconds and Minutes, but I bought that one as I have an interest in the Apollo missions, just like the current wall mounted display I'm knocking together which is a wee shelf dedicated to the Rolex vs Omega Deep Sea Challenge, with the framed story, and both watches in Glass Bell turntable displays ...... Yeah yeah I know, but that shit keeps me outta worse mischief

I got lucky and a kind member friend here agreed to sell me his Rollie Deepsea Challenge rep that he wasn't wearing. Now I've just bought the production version of the Omega PO Ultra Deep "concept" watch that Victor Vevesco took down the Maraina Trench, that watch beat the original Rolex by 8metres, so then Rolex brought out the one I got (12000m) which beat the Omega.

A nice liitle bit of pointless watch "cock waving" history, that kinda shit fascinates me so that's why I'm building my own wee homage to it

Good evening everyone. I am looking for the omega speedmaster silver snoopy 50 years. I think N1 factory is the best for this clock. I can’t find, a link or direct store to buy it. Anybody have information of this watch (n1 factory)

I knew I'd seen one somewhere, he has one left as of this morning, great seller.

These quartzie Speedys are very good, I have several, like most the subdial at 3 just goes round with hrs.

For the right person it's very easy to freeze that hand then there is no obvious "tell" if that bothers, just need some decent tools and a steady hand
