Quick fix on the bracelet, put it on a NATO strap, just like the Astronauts did !! Then it will look better and more true to life !!! That is a nice one Lucy !!!

I love the ST-19 and need a watch with it! I generally don't like chronographs but can't resist the view through that case back... If the bracelet gets sorted I'll be on for one of these!

I guess Neil, Buzz and Mike were traveling at speed when they went into the sea :) ... They certainly were all masters.

Was there ever a gen with an open caseback? believe the 1969 version was solid backed.

Yeah...I believe the current gens are display. I know they have made display backs.

Hey Guys,

Im not sure why but that seamaster bracelet photo issue has happened before - it def comes with Speedmaster bracelet

Don let it put you off - just ask for confirmation on the bracelet when you order

Heaps of guys here have this and all have the right bracelet.

its an awesome watch - just need to freeze the @6 subdial and swap in a gen plexi... (see the omega section...) :)

BTW - 3570.50 is solid caseback and plexi - 3573.50 is display caseback and crystal (this is a rep of the 3573.50) - http://www.speedywatches.com/buyers-guide/modern-speedmaster/3570-3573/

The bracelet looks correct, just the clasp is wrong.

At least mine has that bracelet :)

Solid back and 'high' plexi for me. It'd be another keeper for me. The event shaped my life so importantly I'd even consider a gen if I could find a real one for the right money ...

Aging one of these to read like a 40yr old well used one would be a bunch of fun :)

Here is my gen 45 year old 1969 speedy pro to use as an example.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on this one yet? I'd love to see a review. I would def. order one if it's positive.

And is this the same model with the Lemania movement that's been around for a few years?

I made be missing something but hasn't this watch been around for a while now? Still has the issue with the sundial placement. Is this a new model or a different reference? The only one with this kind of dial placement is the speedy reduced as far as I know.
