Omega Speedmaster: First Rep Purchase! Thinking Puretime?

Hey Guys,

This is going to be my first rep purchase I currently own an original Speedmaster and I’m trying to purchase a rep so I don’t have to wear an expensive watch at work where it’s get a bit dirty currently looking at the SPEEDMASTER YG RMF BEST EDITION GREEN DIAL ON YG BRACELET LEMANIA HW that Puretime has. Any thought is this the closest I’ll get to the real thing? Any better recommendations?

It'll be the best you can get on Speedmaster, sadly. The Speedmaster reps are not great since they have not been able to rep the correct subdial positions and depth.

I highly recommend you do not get a gold tone/plated rep if you're planning to use it for work or as a daily. If you do not take care of it, the gold will fade quite quickly.

Add a link next time. We sadly do not keep an image of every rep embedded in our heads.

If you are working in an environment where it's dirty, be aware that many reps may not be waterproofed in case you encounter water or decide you want to wash your hands or watch. I always wear my Gshocks when I think its going to get too grimy.

Thank you everybody for getting back to me I spoke with Puretime and sadly that combo in moonwatch isn’t available I did find a Gold 36 day date that I’m interested in since this is my first rep I would like to know what the community thinks is this a good buy or is there another recommendation I want it in gold 36mm and stick dials, this is what I found

and that will pull up all the pertinent threads on whatever subject you choose.

Any TD should have access to both factories.
