omega smp pro gen or rep? pics pics here

but im no expert mind giving some thoughts about it guys.

clasp still looks gen to me...

the number on the lug should be 8 digits.

send the serial# off of the case to Omega, they will confirm authenticity. Get that going in the meantime.

the clasp looks like it could be gen to me, and i'm staring at my gen as we speak. Its not as sharp as the rep laser etched clasps, but neither are gens. Yours has a softer look.

Here's mine, a 2009 electric blue model.

Yours appears to be an older model, the Omega anti-counterfeiting etch is missing from the caseback, but again, older models don't have it.

Here it is on mine, under the seamonster.

If you could pop the divers extension out and let me see a shot of it from the underside, that would help. They typically miss the bevelled lip that go's under the clasp bar on the reps, thats why they don't always snap shut as nicely.

I'm not 100% on the bracelet, but i'm telling you right now that case set is gen. It could be the clasps just been polished many times, which is natural. but the font on professional is a little different. Look at the R's. Man it could just be a variation, its hard to tell. The divers extension detailed shots would help when you get them.

To me, the watch looks gen (or the best rep of an SMP blue bond I've ever seen). But the clasp does looked stamped - I don't know if that means it's been replaced, or is just an older model, or what. Either way, enjoy it - it rocks!!!

its gen. thanks everyone. someone shed light to the braclet clasp issue, showed me pic of the older model of smp which is mine and the newer ones which varies a little.

There is no issue. Even the gens have not been consistent over the years. The bracelet is fine you're golden.
