I don't know what it is with black and red. I also have a citizen watch, all black dial with this small red eagle logo, and it just looks really cool for some reason. I will also be getting the IWC Mark XVII soon, a big reason being the little red arrow on the black dial that points at the date :/

And yes, it is a bit chubbier, not that noticeable whilst on the wrist though. I actually prefer the look of the Sub, when they're both off the wrist, but on the wrist, the SMP wins

Mine had a 2892 ETA movement. Arrived DOA. Local watch smith fixed it cheaply, said the movement was in good con. Worn it everyday for over a month, all fine. Time keeping i'm not sure, few minutes here and there, I'm not that concerned with that.

Jean-Francois, now I understand why Trevor talked me out of the new Seamaster, probably because of your experience.

I wanted to buy one from him but he said there were problems with the movement and he did not recommend it. So I did not purchase.
