Hey there, I’m Mario from Austria and this is my first post – apart from the two that didn't work. ;)
Your forum is awesome and I’m really glad I found it. So many nice people here and great information! So thank you for that! :)

Here is what I’m looking for to be my first rep ...

OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono 45.5 mm

omega.jpg

- Diameter: 45.5 mm
- Black Dial, White Numeral Markers
- Stainless Steel Bracelet

This is the genuine watch, in all its beauty. One of the nicest watches ever IMHO.
I want to find the best replica out there (without much modification) and that’s what I found ...

Trusty Time (Andrew)
http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=7338

yourtrustytime.jpg

- Correct OMEGA Logo (no Happy Feet)
- Bezel and Chronograph Hand well aligned with the 12 Hour Marker
- Correct Hand Length
- Correct Subdial Spacing

Movement: Asia Valjoux 7750 (28800 bph)
Diameter: 45.5 mm
Thickness: 17 mm
Strap: SS Bracelet, Correct 22 mm Lugs (also available with Leather or Rubber Strap)
Crystal: Sapphire Crystal with AR
Water Resistant

Price: $318

This watch looks fantastic and flawless to me! Or did I miss something?

Andrew has some very good reviews: "quality watches, good service, highly recommended".
So I guess the price is right for a quality rep?

The "Quality Assurance" service sounds great! Calibration, physical quality check and waterproofing is included for all watches above $200.
What do you think about the watch servicing he offers in addition?

WS001 - Full Movemt Service + Waterproofing - Price: $120
WS002 - Waterproofing for watches (50m) - Price: $50.00

Is it necessary or will it work fine right out of the box? It sure would be nice to have some water resistance to take a shower or even swim with it. :snorkel:

He also offers transhipment via UK for additional $20. Do you think this is a good option to take, since I’m living in Austria?

PayPal is the best and safest way to way, isn't it?

Here are some other buying options I’ve found ...

Perfect Clones (Joshua) - Price: $318

Timeshops.net (Mark) - Price: $288
http://www.timeshops.net/8303-om8470-omega-planet-ocean-455-chrono-ss-ss-white-blk-asian-7750-28800bph

So what do you think? Should I go for it? Have you bought one of his PO Chronos already and are you happy with it?
I would love to hear your thoughts! :)

Regards, Mario

Hi Mario and welcome to the forum! Good choice for your watch!

First of all, as I'm sure some other members will tell you, Trustytime and Perfect Clones are not trusted dealers on this forum, but they do have a reputation of being reliable dealers on another forum. But, as they are not trusted here, if anything goes wrong with the transaction, the moderators here cannot help you.

This watch should be available from the various trusted dealers on this forum. You can find them here (http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/trusted-replica-dealers-168). I know for a fact that WatchEden also has this watch....and I'm sure the others do, as well.

I can't say anything about the Quality Assurance services he offers. And as for the good reviews on the dealers' websites...personally, I'd take everything claimed on ANY dealer's website with a pinch of salt. It would be better if you read up reviews on these dealers either here (or on other forums for Andrew and PC) from members who have bought from them. For our trusted dealers, you can find buyers' reviews here (http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/trusted-dealer-buyer-reviews-27)

Generally, MOST of the time, even without "quality assurance" services, the watches will work fine out of the box. But, for more complicated movements like a chronograph (such as this one), it's always recommended that it be eventually sent to a watchsmith you trust to service it. Same goes for waterproofing.

Hey chisin, thanks for your great reply and insight! :)

I mainly choose Andrew or PC because their PO Chronos seem to have the correct 22 mm Bracelet, Hand Length, Subdial Spacing and Logo (no Happy Feet).
And don’t worry, the "good reviews" I quoted where not on the dealers' website but the RWG* forum. ;)

Thanks for the link to the trusted dealers list! I searched their sites but couldn't find a similar PO Chrono with the correct no Happy Feet Logo.

TimesShop.net has a very nice PO Chrono Automatic with correct Subdial Spacing for $288. The description says "Correct No Happy Feet Logo" but the pictures show it’s not.
http://www.timesshop.net/8337-om8470-omega-planet-ocean-455-chrono-ss-ss-white-blk-asian-7750-28800bph

Asian7750.com has also a very nice PO Chrono Automatic for $258. Correct Subdial Spacing but Happy Feet Logo.
http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=100&P_id=1360&ti=

Watcheden.net has a PO Chrono Automatic for $308. But unfortunately it has the wrong Subdial Spacing (3,6,9 are smaller than the 12 Hour Marker) and the Happy Feet Logo.
http://www.watcheden.net/omega-seamaster-planet-ocean-chronograph-asia-valjoux-movement-s-s-white-marking-i-12307-p-1

or a PO Chrono Automatic with Orange Numeral Markers for $378. Correct Subdial Spacing and the Happy Feet Logo.
http://www.watcheden.net/omega-planet-ocean-chrono-with-asia-valjoux-movement-updated-version-i-28353-p-1

They also have a very nice Quartz PO version for $128 (also with Happy Feet Logo)
