Omega Seamaster NTTD Strap options

Has anybody tried any other bands besides the NATO and stock strap? I am interested in trying a rubber or rubber/mesh band on this watch. It seems to be 20mm lug width.

I would avoid any black. Trust me it clashes when the brown in the watch comes out.

Try looking on cheapest nato straps, they have a good selection of straps (leather & canvas) for pretty cheap!

Love that strap, I will look into it for sure. I have had mine on a khaki barton for the past few months so it has seen a bit of wear.

Barton canvas khaki. Swapped the buckle with the one from the NATO so it has the Omega logo.

In Germany only the brand "Archer" is available. However those straps looks suspiciously similar to the Barton ones sold in the US. Does anybody know whether this is the same company operating under diffrent names?

I’ve got mine on a “Modern Bond” from Nick Mankey Designs. It looks pretty good, although not as dressy as the actual NTTD nato since it’s not as shiny, but much more comfortable and a bit sleeker on the wrist. I’ve also had it on a dark brown Watch Steward elastic strap and that was quite comfortable. Between the Erikas MN, which I have for my 2231.50, the watch steward and the NMD strap, I’d say my preference goes to the build quality and balance of stiffness and comfort if the NMD. If you can wait the 8-10 week lead time it’s well worth it.

I’ve actually got an extra one on my hands, as Nick accidentally mixed up my order. Great service - he immediately sent out the missing strap and let me keep the extra!

I like that it doesn’t have the shiny finish like the NATO it ships with and that it doesn’t add height to the watch is also a bonus, how do you find it for fit and comfort?

Fit is perfect, and it is super comfortable! It’s just the right degree of stiffness and softness for me, and the hook is more secure than TWS clasp.
