Purchased this rep from a site we dare not speak of, off one of the more reliable sellers. After being in contact with him for several weeks, and over a dozen QC photos, I finally decided to pull the trigger. Ive been after a decent quality rep of this watch for quite sometime now. This is THE watch that got me into luxery wrist watches to begin with, so my love for this model is un measurable.
I paid $125 including a generic wooden Omega box (not pictured), and it took about 3 weeks to arrive via EMS packet shipping.
The Cons:
The watch obviously has some flaws and easy tells, such as the wrong Omega logo, pearl is off centered and sticks out to far, the clasp is completely wrong, the Lume is very weak, and bezel is the wrong color and inserted wrong, and the date wheel is the wrong color.
With all that being said, this watch is incredible for what it is. Ive had this watch for almost a week now and have had no issues what so ever. Keeps perfect time, the crown is very easy to click and wind/set, and the automatic movement is clean. The average Joe Schmoe have mistsken it for gen, and are stunned when I tell them its a replica.
I will not provide a link as it is not threw a TD nor is it any longer available threw the dealer I purchased from. This was the model he used to advertise his original stock. I am planning on modding it soon, i will repaint the bezel, and apply the correct omega logo to give it that perfect 2220.80 look. When modding is done I will provide photos. An incredible purchase for what I paid!
