Not bad looking for $35

I have not ordered one and can not vouch for the seller. Buy at your own risk. :)

They sell them in 22mm/18mm. Just right for your UPO. You just need to source a Rep deployant. ;)

I know! I had to pay up the a$$ for mine. I could not wait for the rep of that model to come out any more.

Just think. if Craig wore the new CrPO in his next Bond movie instead of the AT, we would have finally seen some better reps of the CrPO and maybe that strap!!!!!!! :spank: :spank: :spank:

I was at the Omega boutique last week and the rep was saying Omega had a real hard time with those rubber straps. Something to do with the leather underside and cardboard in between.

I guess it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to make a rubber DIVE strap and apply leather to the underside of the strap. It begins to smell and rot...hence why Omega revamped the new ceramic rubber straps to all rubber.

My bad! I meant i wish they had this style.

My Gen rubber is all rubber. I assure you! Just looking at the underside shows that it is solid. And leather underneath?

What strap are you talking about. It can't be the one Pap shows or mine.....

Uh oh, Q your right I take it back. After further research I realized I was refering to rubber strap model 98000196.

This is the one with the straight ends :s
The "cardboard core" may not be the right technical term but that's essentially what it's made of from what the tech was explaining. I have limited knowledge on the PO rubber strap options + construction so I took his word for it. You guys may know better...

Love your photos, the stitching really compliments the design and colour of your watch.

Seeing as I have both Gen rubber straps, I can honestly say they both have their place. this one feels lighter and I do like how it tapers to 18mm.

I'm not sure why they decided on keeping the usual model 20mm end to end?

What most people don't realize is that Omega sources quite a few of their parts from various Chinese Manufacturers including Straps and Buckles etc..

Proof? Source? Link?
