Strap or bracelet?

edit:
I should clarify that. There are only two ways you can find the black bezel/orange number configuration.

On a metal bracelet or a leather strap with orange stitching.

Definitely the 'curved' stainless steel bracelet

Thanks but I tried Andrew already too. Only orange 42.5's avavilable..

A lot of dealers are still showing them as 'in stock'.. but they're not !

FRUSTRATING !!!

PM sent

I have a 42.5 4th gen with orange numbers and an orange bezel. On ebay a black bezel is $24 + shipping. I was considering doing the same. I have a leather strap and the stainless steel bracelet. The problem with the bracelet is the mushroom locking piece was broken off when I recd the watch(I knew it before I bought it). Again $25 on ebay or from Silix.

I bought the watch a couple of months ago from a member on RWI. It has been a great watch but I want the UPO on a rubber strap.

I paid $150.00 for the watch. If you are interested let me know.

Hi;
Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it if I have no luck with the dealers. I have 2 of them checking the makers for me right now...

Re: Looking for Omega Planet Ocean 'Swiss"ETA' 42.5 w/ Black bez

you guys mmight want to do a search to see if the 42.5mm bezel insert fits.

As long as i can remember, it does not. If you buy the ebay version, it will be too small for the rep version. I've also had them side by side and measured them out.

Unless i missed something completely.

If u can source a REP insert, that will fit, but off the bay, it will not.

Do a search for it here and other forums to find out about it. I am sure it doesnt fit as i've looked for that route before as well... but am not sure if there is some new development on it or a new mod for it?

Thanks Crick;

That's good to know before I start 'tinkering'...

I think I'll just' keep looking / wait' for 'exactly' what I want...

Any other leads would be much appreciated!!!!

Cheers;

PM sent. I know what you are saying about the availability. Most of them appear to be the 45MM.

Thanks Crick! You saved me $30 and a lot of aggravation. Any idea of which dealers will source the bezel only? How about a UPO dial to cut and put in a 42? A previous thread stated a UPO would fit with some Dremel help. I emailed Silix about a dial but received no response.
Thanks again.

dont get me wrong, a gen dial will fit. It's the bezel insert that doesnt.

Hands fit if there's an ETA movement in it.
