First purchase on Dealer Clocks.
An Omega Moonwatch. All went well. Placed the order, received QC after few days, approved, and than received the shipment in two weeks. I have had an original Moonwatch in the past, and I can't see any difference with this one. Really perfect. The material, the touch feel, all is undistinguishable from the real watch. And the approach is really friendly.

You need to do better research. Your replica is easily identifiable as a fake.

A good replica of the moonwatch does not exist because of the lack of a rep movement to mimic the correct spacing of the sub dials. All handwound moonwatch replicas have a spacing more similar to the Speedmaster Reduced = too far apart.

You won't believe it, but I really had an original Moonwatch in the past. Buyed from an official dealer. I am not an expert, absolutely, and your post confirmed that. When I first weared the watch I didn't saw difference and I was totally satisfied. The quality of the steel and the markers on the backside are really well made. Than, after your post, I have searched for pictures and for information, and yes, the difference of the subdials it's under the eyes. So, what can I say: sorry for the enthusiasm that made me write without paying the necessary attention. And thank you, really; I am here for learn and increase my knowledge about watches. Hope I didn't infringed the rules of the forum. Next time I will pay more attention. Anyway the replicas that I have found here are really not comparable with the ones that are in Italy. Even the Speedmaster it's enough for me, and the other watch that I have purchased are really beautiful. So thank to everyone here, best regards,

Dario.

Hey buddy, didn't meant to burst your bubble of enthusiasm. I was just pointing out the facts... 😆

I had no clue about this 3 years ago as well, even though I'm a big Omega fan. I would argue that it must be a number which is close to 100% of Moonwatch gen-only owners who are unaware of this.

But flaws and inaccuracies are absolutely no reason whatsover to not enjoy reps. If we would all wear only reps without obvious flaws, RWI would probably only consist of a few hundred posts, instead of millions.

NEVER apologize for enthusiasm! And no shame in not knowing. How would you anyway? That's what RWI is for: To share and learn new knowledge.

You should definitely keep wearing the rep if you like and enjoy it. And also, look at the plus side of your newfound knowledge: You can now easily look at a moonwatch and instantly know whether it's genuine or fake. 😆

It's the first thing I thought...actually from a distance it might seem like a reduced one, even though the crown is in line with the pushers...

Anyway maybe this rep doesn't have the small defect of the gen on the minute chrono click just before the seconds hand reaches its destination 😊

Ciao Dario and best wishes for your new arrival, I'm writing from Italy too.

I fully agree with Hec's thoughts, I have only few reps, and the one I like the most has enormous differences, evident to those who know the gen model...but I love it as it is.

Out of curiosity, how much did you spend on this Moonwatch?

The Watch costs 418,99 + 49 USD, with triangulation with Germany. The overall quality satisfied my expectations, except of course for the subdials.
