Omega CrPO purchase from TrustyTime

Hi all,

Just got my QC pics from Andrew at Trusty Time, and should be getting my new Omega CrPO in a week or so.

I have had great experience with Andrew and would definitely recommend him to others. I am very pleased!

I will have a review of my new watch when it arrives.

Currently I own (all reps)

DeepSea C (The Watch Cartel)
GMT 2 C. (The Watch Cartel)
DateJust2 ( The Watch Cartel)
SubC LV. (PureTime)

So this will be nice to finally have an Omega to the collection.

I have one question though. All the reps I have owned so far are 21J 2813 21,600. This CrPO is a 25J. Is the 25J noticeably smoother???

But this is also a general discussion thread as well, seeing that I am asking a general question about the watch's movement.

So if anyone would like to chime in on the 25J and 21J movement differences that would be great, thanks!

Do you know Google search? Search 21j and 25j movement differences. Then try searching Youtube and you will find videos of both sweeps.

Which 21j's do you have in your current reps?

There are two types of 21j movements that are commonly used. The DG2813 and DG4813. The 2813 sweeps at a beat rate of 21,600. The DG4813 sweeps at 28,800.

So a 25j would be the same as a 4813.

What do you have in your current reps?

Oh and a few more thoughts......

Generally speaking, the models that are sold with an ETA or ETA clone usually have advantages. (Sapphire, Franken options,........)

I have the 2813.

21,600.. Sorry for the confusion.

I just purchased the CrPO as a 2824-2 25J.

So, the difference between that would be great to know.
