i just purchased a genuine Omega Calibre 2500 movement for my Noob Lmpo franken, it was water damaged so i will be doing a step by step rust removal, tear down and build using spare parts from a new seagull 2892 clone and gen omega parts (if available).

first step will be to post some pics when it arrives of the damaged gen movement and the rust removal process.

Stay tuned.

Cool! I hope you can use more gen parts than not. I find Ofrei to be a great source for reasonably price gen parts. Highly recommended.

And so it begins, movement had been disassembled and once I derust the parts I will see what parts are going to be required. All the brass parts are quite oxidized but may be usable.

Pics below.
