Hello!. Well I have a Seamaster Chrono and one complication doesn't work, I was thinking about change watch movement all. Is it possible? Can I do it myself? What movement do you think is best for this watch?

Thank you, fellas.

There are a couple of different Seamaster Chronos, the blue classic with a 6-9-12 A7750 and a black 3-6-9 model. Personally I would suggest that you have the movement serviced. If you have the blue model, you can put a gen ETA 7750 in it as well. Putting a new A7750 in it would be your cheapest option, but you are back to having an unserviced movement, and your results may vary.

You can find the ETA 7750 at Cousins "cousinsuk.com"

They sell them assembled and in a Loose Pack.

Name Cousins ref. Price
Valjoux 7750 Loose Pack Movement 7750LP £295.00
Valjoux 7750 Movement 7750M £367.50

For the asian version, you might mail or PM one of the dealers such as Hont or Watcheden and ask them. They should be able to get it and will tell you for how much.

Again, seriously consider spending $200 on a service rather than $120 or more to replace it.
